Who says it has to be itsy bitsy? is the tag line for Rey Swimwear. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn, creator Jessica Rey wanted to capture Audrey’s sense of style, grace, elegance, and fun in the design of the line. And who not to showcase it best than photographers Kristin Rogers and Logan Cole!

Logan called me up and asked if I wanted to share makeup duties with Shelia Northcutt and work with hairstylist Dianna Lopez. I happily accepted! Logan wanted a more modern look with defined brows, bold color and winged out shadow to create a bit of a contrast to the retro line. I ended up using MAC pigments (Blue Brown, Spiritualize, and Bell-Bottom Blue) on top of MAC’s shell cream base and smolder liner to hold the pigment and create a really bold eye. The makeup turned out fantastic in the photos and was exactly what we all collectivley had invisioned!

I shot this little video with an iPhone app the second day we worked with Aimee Joy Grover. Thought it would be fun to show a quick peak into the shoot! Enjoy!
